Ismail Haji

NLP Master Practitioner, author, poet

Ismail Haji at his desk

Ismail Haji is from Lalamusa in Pakistan. He studied at the University of Gujrat, where he took up psychology. The writing began in the same period.

Two books

The first book is Mohabbat se Nafrat Tak. The second, Tum Par Likhi Shayari, was published by Press for Peace Publications and launched at CH Basharat Hall, Municipal Committee Lalamusa.

The poetry has formal training behind it too. He completed the Riyazat e Sheri course at Idara Shams ul Makatib in 2025.

Work on the mind

Alongside psychology he trained in NLP at the Waqas Centre of Wellness, accredited by the NLP Association of Excellence in the United Kingdom. Both levels of the Life Mastery programme were completed in 2025, and the Practitioner and Master Practitioner certifications in 2026.

He also took part in clinical training with Psychological Health and Mental Care, covering the basics of psychometric evaluation, counselling and psychotherapy, along with workshops on personality development, art therapy, sleep disorders and autism.

Three registers, one job

In a session the question is what shape a thing takes in your mind. In a book the same question is put through a story, so the reader asks it of themselves. In a couplet the question is not asked at all: the state is simply set down in front of you.

The clinical register, the narrative register, the emotional register. All three are after the same thing.
